The Story of Experiment 1202 – The Inside-Out Creature
Deep within the abandoned laboratories of Playtime Co., many strange projects were once proposed. Most of them were meant to bring joy to children.
But not all ideas were meant to survive.
One of the strangest canceled concepts was a toy line known as Wrongside Outimals — plush animals designed with their features twisted, inverted, and oddly stitched, as if their bodies had been turned inside out.
Executives quickly realized the problem: no child would want a toy that looked broken, distorted, or unsettling. The concept was shelved and forgotten, locked away in the company archives.
Or at least… that’s what the company believed.
When the Prototype Took Control
After the catastrophic event known as The Hour of Joy, the factory descended into chaos.
In the shadows of the ruined facility, a powerful and mysterious entity emerged — The Prototype.
Unlike the scientists of Playtime Co., the Prototype did not see toys.
It saw potential experiments.
While searching through the abandoned labs, it discovered the discarded blueprints for the Wrongside Outimals project. To the Prototype, the designs were not a mistake.
They were a perfect starting point.
The Birth of Experiment 1202
One old recording recovered from the facility carries a simple title:
Experiment 1202
In the footage, a small plush creature lies on a metal table.
At first glance, it resembles a toy… but something is deeply wrong.
Its plastic eyes seem pushed outward.
Its fur grows unevenly along the seams of its body.
Its stitched mouth forms a wide, unnatural grin filled with sharp shapes.
It looks less like a plush toy and more like something that has been forced into the shape of one.
Many fans believe this creature was one of the earliest attempts to create an Outimal experiment, possibly the first successful subject.
But there is another, darker theory.
Some believe Experiment 1202 was never meant to be a toy at all.
The Creatures of the Dark
After its creation, Experiment 1202 was not alone for long.
More creatures began appearing within the factory — twisted plush animals with inverted features and distorted bodies. These were later referred to as Outimals, monsters that roam the dark hallways of the abandoned facility.
Unlike the larger experiments, these creatures behave like scavengers.
They move in packs.
They lurk in the darkness.
And they strike quickly when their prey is vulnerable.
However, they share one strange weakness:
light.
When exposed to bright light, the creatures panic and retreat, as if some fragment of their original toy-like nature still remains.
A Mystery That Remains Unsolved
To this day, the true identity of Experiment 1202 remains unknown.
Fans continue to debate what it really is:
• The first Wrongside Outimal ever created
• A corrupted version of another toy experiment
• Or something far more disturbing — a subject transformed into a plush-like creature by the Prototype itself
Whatever the truth may be, one thing is certain.
Somewhere in the endless corridors of the old factory, something small still moves through the dark.
Its eyes reflect the faint light of broken hallway lamps.
And from the shadows, a crooked stitched smile slowly appears.
Experiment 1202 is still out there.
